Phil Evans, Head of Savills Acoustics, Noise and Vibration Team has been awarded Fellow of the Institute of Acoustics.
Phil joined Savills in 2021 as part of the newly formed Environment and Infrastructure Team within the planning division. Phil heads up the acoustics, noise and vibration specialism as part of the wider E&I Team operating under Dan Smyth. Phil’s award as Fellow of the Institute reflects his significant contribution to the industry and his managements and achievements on major projects over the course of his career.
Phil is a long standing member of the Institute of Acoustics (IoA) and is also member of various noise and vibration related British Standards Institution and Association of Noise Consultants committees. He was previously invited to join the Membership Committee of the IoA which forms a critical part of the management of the membership of the Institute. The Committee also oversees matters concerning Continuing Professional Development both for individual members and in relation to any such scheme operated by employers. Liaison is maintained with the Engineering Division Committee in respect of granting Chartered and Incorporated Engineer status.
