BaxterStorey Account Director Crowned ACE Robyns Winner

It was a night of double celebration for BaxterStorey last week, as account director Caroline Bacigalupo, was named the winner of this year’s ACE Robyns Award, followed by account manager and runner up, Lily Bell.

Now in its seventh year, the Awards held at ACE’s annual summer party at Rotunda Bar & Restaurant, King’s Place in London, celebrated emerging talent within the foodservice sector.

As the youngest female account director within our business, Caroline was praised by judges for playing a key role in securing a five-year contract extension for our largest flagship contracts and for consistently showing great leadership.

Caroline recently secured 14 HIT Scotland scholarships for her team, created a carbon neutral hospitality menu for her client and supported with the opening of our first social enterprise café in partnership with Social Bite.

Presented with her award in front of 150 hospitality guests, Caroline said: “I am speechless! I can’t believe I won the 2022 ACE Robyns Award, it still hasn’t sunk in. I’m looking forward to working with ACE over the next year and to continue to grow in this amazing industry. Huge thank you to Neil Bird and Mack Allan for their support over the years – it goes to show hard work really does pay off.”

ACE chair, Sue Prentice, added: “This accolade celebrates those team members aged 35 and under who have what it takes to make a real difference in the industry. The standard of entry was very high this year, making it a difficult decision for our judges but Caroline is a very worthy winner”.

Account manager, Lily Bell was recognised for her wellbeing led approach to management and involvement in launching our Wellbeing Hub with support from The Burnt Chef Project.
