Savills has risen eight places up the ranking in the Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers of 2022-2023, placing first at this year’s Rate My Apprenticeship Awards. The online event took place on Wednesday 20th July.
Now in its eighth year, the awards look to bring together apprentices, schools, employers and training providers to celebrate successful apprenticeship programmes across the UK. The Top 100 Employers list is based on over 8,000 reviews from young people who have completed apprenticeships or work experience in the last 12 months. Once again, Savills remained the only property advisor to feature.
Serena Phillips, professional apprenticeships manager in the Future Talent team, comments: “This is an absolutely fantastic achievement, having ranked eighth last year and twelfth in 2020 this is testament to the real progress we have made when it comes to continuously improving our apprenticeship scheme. The comprehensive programme we have in place allows apprentices to learn, develop and grow within Savills. Consequently, it has been very rewarding to see many of them flourish and achieve their aim of obtaining an apprenticeship qualification.”
Naomi Chandler, head of the Future Talent team, adds: “To acknowledge the growth of the apprenticeship programme and its importance to Savills as a business, we have rebranded the graduate team (which formerly included apprenticeships) as the future talent team. This reflects our goal of attracting and retaining the best, most diverse talent to match our business needs for the future.”
Richard Rees, managing director of Savills UK, says: “Huge congratulations to our future talent team for this truly fantastic achievement. It is thanks to them and the dedication of the entire UK business that we continue to provide an unrivalled programme for our apprentices. It remains incredibly important to offer people an alternative route into the property sector and it is this diversity of voices that helps Savills provide the very best service to our clients.”
