ISS UK has announced a new partnership with apetito, one of the UK’s largest suppliers of delivered-in meals and a company with a market-leading sustainability strategy.
Beginning from the 1st October 2022, this contract secures apetito as ISS UK’s main provider of delivered-in meals across the company’s healthcare business, serving around 8.5million meals per year.
apetito’s core values, principles and policies makes them a significant asset to ISS’ healthcare food service vision. Sharing our high standards of quality, responsibility, dedication and ethics, apetito is focused on reducing food waste, sourcing ethically and lowering carbon emissions as part of its industry-leading Net Zero commitment; providing food that meets our patients’ standards of quality and sustainability values.
The healthcare business is the largest of our B2B divisions; a valued sector where there is opportunity for both us and apetito to evolve, learn and help deliver on multiple NHS and government pledges. Over the next five years, both partners will continue to build a product range to meet the evolving needs of NHS patients, developing systems and processes that reduce waste, labour and cost while drawing daily on our shared industry experience.
