A train operating company is looking for a supplier to help with both an external and internal graffiti problem with their trains.
The appeal has been made through Innovate UK KTN, which supports the rail industry with looking for innovative solutions.
For this particular problem, the train operating company is looking for a solution such as a self-healing window film, or a coating that prevents graffiti altogether than can be put on trains.
Daisy Chapman-Chamberlain, rail lead at Innovate UK KTN, said: “This train operating company is looking for an innovative solution to this problem.
“Essentially, it needs to support them so they can provide a presentable train without it needing to be removed from service for an extended period.”
