Beacon Tower in Bristol is now fully let after a flurry of office lettings

Savills, on behalf of AEW, has completed nine office lettings and regears at Beacon Tower in Bristol, totalling circa 40,000 sq ft over the past 12 months, taking occupancy rates to 100%.

The building’s common areas and vacant office suites have been comprehensively refurbished, overseen by Savills Bristol Project Management team, helping to secure an impressive range of EPC A and B ratings, in line with anticipated changes to energy efficiency legislation.

Beacon Tower is a landmark building on the Bristol skyline, providing panoramic views across the city and floating harbour, with impressive end of journey cycle facilities.

Recent lettings in the building include multiple firms of architects, engineers, recruitment consultants, managed workspace, media advertising agency and a research company in the field of quantum science.

A key component in the building’s leasing success has been tailoring accommodation to the needs of the modern business in a post covid environment. The scheme  offers a mix of traditional leased space alongside fully fitted CAT A+ suites, where the landlord can provide tenants with a  turnkey solution, as  delivered to the new  occupier  who moved into a fully operational 30 person office the same day as the lease was signed.

In addition to the nine office lettings, the building’s ground floor retail parade is now fully let and includes Luxe Fitness, dental practice Smile 2 Impress and Banh Wagon, a Vietnamese inspired street food café. These new traders compliment Bambalan who operate a Mediterranean inspired restaurant terrace and  roof top bar at the building’s podium level.

Harry Allen, Director, Office Agency at Savills Bristol comments: “This flurry of leasing activity is testament to the owner’s belief in this Bristol landmark and a willingness to invest in a programme of capital expenditure to meet demand for office space delivered to a high specification with strong sustainability credentials in prime locations with surrounding amenity.”
