Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has been contracted to deliver specialist Access & Safety services for PepsiCo’s manufacturing facility in Coventry.
PepsiCo UK has a 4,500-strong team across ten sites nationwide, one of which is its factory in Coventry – one of the biggest manufacturing sites for snacks in the UK. It produces a number of well-known brands including Doritos, SunBites, Squares, French Fries, Wotsits, and Monster Munch. It is a multi-technology plant with significant automation and employs 650 people.
PepsiCo has built a strong reputation for creating popular consumer products and the company has a presence in over 200 countries worldwide.
In this contract, engineers will be installing a rooftop walkway system following the replacement of the existing roof. Such systems provide an answer to the long-standing problem of safely demarcating rooftop walkways to protect users against hazards when working at height.
