Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has been contracted to deliver specialist fire and security services for a leading brand of electrical consumer products.
Founded in Germany in 1921, the company is known for its design aesthetic from the 1960s through the 1980s, which included products such as electric shavers, radiograms and record players, movie cameras, slide projectors, clocks, and small kitchen appliances.
It is now a subsidiary of Procter & Gamble, producing products in the following categories:
- Shaving and grooming (electric shaving, hair trimming, beard trimming)
- Oral care
- Beauty care (hair care and epilation)
- Health and wellness (ear thermometers, blood pressure monitors) (out-licensed)
- Food and drink preparation (coffee makers, coffee grinders, toasters, blenders, juicers) (out-licensed)
- Irons (out-licensed)
- Clocks, watches and calculators (out-licensed)
In this contract, engineers from PTSG Fire Solutions Ltd will be delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) covering fire alarms, air sampling, CCTV for a three-year period, with potential to work at 15 sites nationally.
PTSG Fire Solutions Ltd is the largest of the Group’s five independent business divisions. The other four are PTSG Access & Safety Ltd, PTSG Electrical Services Ltd, PTSG Building Access Specialists Ltd and PTSG Water Treatment Ltd.
