Kingdom Healthcare and Kingdom Medical announced their merger from 1 April, to become Kingdom Healthcare.
This is designed to improve the quality of services provided and expand the company’s presence in the healthcare sector, whilst keeping existing services running smoothly during the transition.
As part of the Newton-le-Willows-based Kingdom Services Group, the merger enables both businesses to streamline their strengths, resources, and expertise to better serve clients and communities.
Chief operating officer Bal Sohal said: “We are excited by this consolidation of our knowledge, expertise, and resources to become a stronger, more efficient Kingdom Healthcare. This merger means we will continue to grow as a company, meeting the evolving needs of our clients and providing the highest quality service.”

Niamh Conaty and Kim Flora will become operation directors of for Northern Ireland and England, Scotland, and Wales respectively. Their appointments reflect the strong position the business holds in Northern Ireland and across UK.
The merged Kingdom Healthcare business provides nationwide compassionate and tailored home care solutions and healthcare professionals including nurses, care staff and allied health professionals to healthcare organisations such as NHS Trusts and private sector. Hand-picked staff possess the expertise and experience necessary to support clients with diverse needs, including those with dementia, physical disabilities, and complex care requirements.
