Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has been contracted to deliver specialist electrical services at a residential development under construction in Blackheath, South-East London.
This residential development is part of the masterplan to regenerate the Kidbrooke area. Phase 2 consists of the construction of two blocks of apartments and 40+ townhouses, all designed to achieve a code for sustainable homes level 3.
Renewable technologies including biomass boiler plant and solar hot water generation has been incorporated into the scheme to achieve this requirement.
A ‘wet’ swale (lake) has been designed and integrated into the scheme to provide both a habitat for wildlife and to provide surface water retention across this and future phase on the site.
In this contract, engineers from PTSG Electrical Services Ltd will install a new lightning protection system to protect the residential structures and all residents in the event of an electrical storm.

JW Gray, which became part of PTSG in 2015, began trading in 1835, making it one of the oldest – if not the oldest – trading provider of lightning protection services in the UK and possible even Europe.
