Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has been commissioned to carry out specialist Access & Safety works at the Australian High Commission, located at the historic Australia House on The Strand, London.
Australia House is a landmark Grade II listed building and the longest continuously occupied diplomatic mission in the UK.
Renowned for its architectural grandeur, the building incorporates a rich array of materials imported from across Australia, including trachyte, Buchan marble, and black bean timber – showcasing the nation’s heritage through its very structure.
Engineers from PTSG Access & Safety Ltd have been contracted to deliver two significant remedial tasks at the site. The first involves the complete replacement of roof-mounted anchor points—vital components that support safe working at height by securing operatives using fall protection equipment. The second task includes essential repairs to an access ladder and handrail system, further enhancing the building’s overall safety compliance.
PTSG is one of the UK’s leading providers of fall protection solutions, offering end-to-end services from installation and inspection to testing and remedial works. The project forms part of the Group’s continued support for prestigious heritage and diplomatic sites, where safety, precision, and care are paramount.
