Rural broadband provider Quickline Communications has announced a new partnership with fellow Yorkshire-based Sewell Facilities Management.
Sewell Facilities Management will be working with Quickline for the next three years, looking after the internet service provider’s buildings so they can continue to roll out their full fibre network to rural and hard-to-reach homes and businesses across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.
The partnership will see Sewell FM managing four of the company’s premises across Willerby, Hull and Leeds, taking care of everything from maintenance of air conditioning, electrical systems and heating, to fire safety, water hygiene, cleaning and security. They will also be on call 24/7, ready to react to ensure Quickline’s buildings are kept operational at all times.
Peter Roper, Fleet and Facilities Manager at Quickline, said: “As Quickline continues to grow, with more people, vehicles, and sites across our network, our partnership with Sewell Facilities Management is a key step forward. Their expertise will support us in managing our facilities more efficiently, streamline day-to-day operations and enhance the working environment for our teams. Most importantly, it allows us to stay focused on our core business and what matters most – connecting rural customers to fast, reliable broadband.”
Rob Page, Facilities Manager at Sewell FM, said: “We’re really pleased to be starting this new partnership with Quickline. We’re both rapidly growing companies, based in Yorkshire, and we share a commitment to giving back to our local communities.
“We can manage Quickline’s buildings and make sure they’re comfortable, safe and compliant, so they can concentrate on their day-to-day work of bringing broadband to rural homes and businesses where it’s needed most.”
