PTSG company delivers specialist water treatment services at Scotland’s first hospice

Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) is supporting Scotland’s longest-running hospice through the delivery of vital water treatment services at St Margaret’s Hospice in Clydebank, via its specialist water treatment company HCS Water Treatment.

Founded over 75 years ago, St Margaret’s holds a unique place in Scottish healthcare history as the country’s first and largest hospice. Located just west of Glasgow, its approach to care is holistic – addressing the spiritual, physical, psychological, and social needs of patients with life-limiting conditions.

The facility includes two in-patient care units:

 Mary Aikenhead Centre for hospital-based complex clinical care

These units provide round-the-clock support for patients requiring complex symptom management and emotional, social or spiritual support.

As part of the new contract, engineers from HCS Water Treatment will deliver a full suite of water treatment and hygiene services, helping to ensure that St Margaret’s maintains a safe, clean and compliant water system for patients, staff and visitors alike.

PTSG, through HCS, is a trusted provider of Legionella prevention, remedial works, testing, and compliance support for clients across healthcare and other critical sectors. With a strong focus on reliability, sustainability and efficiency, its services are designed to reduce risk while saving time and cost for clients.
