Mark your diaries and save the date for the next Kimberly-Clark Professional Golden Service Awards which will take place on Thursday 21 May 2026 at the London Hilton on Park Lane. One of the UK’s best known TV faces, Kerry Godliman, comedian and actor, will be joined on stage by Craig Bowman, Commercial Director, UK and Ireland Kimberly-Clark Professional to present the 18 awards.

Straight-talking and quick-witted, Kerry Godliman is widely recognised as one of the country’s leading performers, both as a comedian and an actor. Best known for her appearances on BBC’s Mock the Week, Live at the Apollo and Taskmaster, Kerry has received critical acclaim as an actor for her roles in Ricky Gervais’ After Life, Extras and Derek, plus her leading role in Whitstable Pearl, and for starring in the hit series’ Trigger Point, Treadstone, Call the Midwife, Miranda and Our Girl.

First-time entrants lead the way for 2026

The announcement of the finalists follows the first stage of judging carried out independently by The British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc). The judges have announced there were more first-time entrants for the 2026 awards than any previous awards.

Neil Spencer-Cook, BICSc Group MD said: “The increase in first-time applicants was great to see and the high standard of entries made the paper judging process very challenging. There was a strong focus on staff development, welfare, and morale, whilst ESG stood out as a priority for everyone. This year it was a pleasure to see the passion, progress and forward thinking in the industry shining through. These are well deserved finalists.”

The following finalists will now go through to the next stage of judging which for most categories includes a site visit by a BICSc judge. The site visits will take place during January and February, with the judges looking for innovation, staff training, and client relationships as the main criteria for assessment. BICSc will be in touch in the coming days to arrange a visit or telephone interview.
