Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has completed a programme of composite fire door installations for a major affordable housing provider in the north-west of England, delivered through its constituent company Neo.
The works formed part of a multi-phase rollout across residential properties in Merseyside, Greater Manchester and Lancashire.
Phase five of the programme involved working across live housing stock, requiring careful coordination to maintain resident safety and safeguarding while delivering installations across dispersed locations. All doors were installed in accordance with manufacturer guidance, third-party certification standards (FIRAS/BM Trada) and current building regulations.
Neo’s FIRAS-accredited installation teams combined technical expertise with programme management to ensure continuity with earlier phases. Resident engagement formed a key part of delivery, with teams managing appointments, communicating with occupants and working sensitively in occupied homes, including properties housing vulnerable residents.
Logistics planning with the client’s project team supported material delivery, scheduling and quality control. Digital reporting systems were used to capture verification data and maintain a compliant “golden thread” of information.
The completion of the latest phase highlights Neo’s capability to deliver large-scale fire safety upgrades across occupied residential estates while maintaining high standards of compliance, quality and resident care.
