An engineer from Guardian Electrical Compliance, part of Premier Technical Services Group (PTSG), is taking on a fundraising challenge in support of Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity, continuing the company’s long-standing relationship with the organisation.
Steve Greenhalgh has signed up to the charity’s “50 for 50” initiative, launched to mark its 50th anniversary. As part of the challenge, he will complete 50 miles during February, combining his interest in running with fundraising for the hospital.
Greenhalgh previously worked at Sheffield Children’s Hospital as part of his role carrying out electrical testing across the estate, where he gained first-hand insight into the scale of operations and the hospital’s approach to patient care and family support.
He said the challenge was an opportunity to give back to an organisation he has seen in action, citing the dedication of staff and the supportive environment created for young patients and their families.
Guardian Electrical Compliance has supported Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity for many years through fundraising initiatives and staff challenges. Greenhalgh’s participation in the anniversary campaign continues this tradition and reflects the wider PTSG Group’s commitment to community engagement.
Funds raised will help the charity enhance clinical care, facilities and support services for children and families across the region. Donations can be made via Greenhalgh’s JustGiving page: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/Steve1769518824643
PTSG said it is proud to support the initiative and recognise Guardian’s ongoing contribution to charitable and community causes.
