Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has been appointed to provide comprehensive earthing and lightning protection systems at Rugeley John Taylor, Staffordshire’s first all-through school.
The new facility, being developed on the site of the former Rugeley Power Station, will offer continuous education from Nursery (age 3+) through to post-16.
The secondary phase of Rugeley John Taylor opened this month, welcoming its first intake of 150 Year 7 students. The primary phase is set to open in September 2026, providing places for Nursery and Reception pupils.
Under this contract, engineers from PTSG’s Lightning Protection Installations Division will design and install site-wide earthing and lightning protection systems to ensure the highest safety standards throughout the new school campus.
