Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has been appointed to deliver specialist electrical safety works at London Luton Airport, supporting Shell Aviation through aviation services provider Menzies Aviation.
London Luton Airport, the fifth-busiest airport in the UK, handles millions of passengers each year and operates from a single, two-storey terminal building alongside a single runway. Opened in 1938, the airport has grown significantly over the decades, now serving as a key aviation hub within the Southeast.
Under the new contract, PTSG’s Lightning Protection Installations Division will undertake the installation of a new, fully compliant lightning protection system to safeguard the site, its infrastructure and its users.
PTSG is recognised as the UK’s market leader in lightning protection and power earthing services, providing design, installation, inspection, testing and ongoing maintenance across a wide range of critical environments.
The project at Luton Airport marks another significant aviation-sector contract for the Group, reinforcing its position as a trusted provider of specialist safety solutions for high-profile, high-demand facilities.
