With many organisations still looking to establish a hybrid culture that works, HubStar – a global leader in hybrid workplace solutions – is introducing an innovative feature called Policy Pulse™ to its Hub product. The new feature is designed to provide real-time access to accurate data about employees’ compliance with their organisation’s return-to-office (RTO) policy.
This move follows HubStar’s regular roundtable discussions with workplace leaders which identified that many organisations still don’t know how closely employees are following their hybrid policy.
The new Policy Pulse™ feature will enable workplace leaders to easily check whether their hybrid policy stack is working by leveraging accurate unified attendance data from multiple sources, including badge data and employee assignment data.
By comparing expected in-office attendance with actual data, Policy Pulse™ will provide a true picture of employee compliance by site, team and role – enabling managers to make data-driven decisions at each level.
HubStar’s aim is to help organisations develop an effective workplace strategy by using Policy Pulse™ to refine their hybrid policy, team agreements, and space use based on employees’ real behaviour, rather than patchy attendance data or guesswork.
As a lower-cost alternative to occupancy sensors, the Policy Pulse™ feature can be up and running within days, using organisations’ existing data to provide instant clarity through real-time vision.
Policy Pulse™ will also allow managers to replace slow, manual reporting with always-on, factual insights into precisely where their policies aren’t working – and why. This will help them to drive open and constructive team-level discussions about employees’ hybrid habits.
Jane Young, HubStar’s Vice President of Growth, said: “Most workplace leaders don’t have a hybrid policy problem, they have a policy stack problem, a reality versus intent problem, and a sketchy data problem.”
She added: “Policy Pulse was developed to help workplace leaders design their policy stack on purpose, rather than allowing it to evolve by accident. By enabling them to operationalise their data from a central hub, it will replace slow, siloed, manual reporting with always-on, accurate team-level attendance insight.”
HubStar will host an online seminar on Hybrid Policy vs Reality – Using Attendance Data to Evolve Your Workplace Strategy on January 28 (4pm GMT; 11am EST). Click HERE to register for the free event.
