Thousands Explore Latest Developments in Pest Management at PestEx 2026

The breadth of knowledge and expertise required to protect public health from pest risks was on full display at British Pest Control Association’s (BPCA) PestEx 2026 trade show, held at Excel London.

With more than 100 exhibitors from the UK, Europe and across the world alongside a packed programme of expert speakers and panel debates, the event offered professionals in the pest industry and allied sectors an opportunity to delve into the latest innovations and conversations.

Cutting edge methods, techniques and products used to prevent, manage and control infestations were showcased to around 2,000 visitors across the two-day expo.

A series of discussions tackled hot topics in the industry, including protecting the future of pest management chemicals, how to work hand-in-hand with your local Environmental Health department, invasive Yellow-legged hornet control in the UK and working animals in pest management.

Rosina Robson, BPCA Chief Executive said: “Pest professionals work in a wide range of environments from homes and businesses to food processing plants, factories, hospitals and schools.

“Pest professionals are a first line of defence in the public health space. Our industry is highly regulated, and operatives are not only required to have a broad knowledge base but are also expected to continually develop their expertise.

“PestEx provided members with a variety of options to enhance and improve their knowledge as well as networking with colleagues and making new connections both across the pest management industry and beyond.”

Delegates in attendance ranged from pest management companies and industry suppliers to professionals working in environmental health, facilities management, hospitality, housing, cleaning and conservation.

Lauren Day is Events Manager at BPCA. She said: “PestEx brings together pest professionals, experts and academics with businesses, public sector and third sector organisations looking to protect customers, colleagues and communities.

“It’s important that everyone in our industry gets the opportunity to connect and learn from each other.

“Between the exhibitors, seminars and networking opportunities at the show, I think the pest management show managed to bring together a lot of passion under one roof.

“Thank you to all who made the show happen, and for contributing to such a successful PestEx”.

BPCA member businesses are endorsed by the Government via the TrustMark quality scheme as they must carry the correct insurances and are trained and qualified technicians who are assessed to the British Standard in pest management EN 16636 and follow BPCA’s Codes of Best Practice.
