Kier appointed to Ministry of Justice £2.5bn Constructor Services Frameworks

Kier has been appointed to Frameworks A and C of the Ministry of Justice’s (MoJ) five-year, £2.5bn Constructor Services Frameworks.

The frameworks will be used across the Ministry of Justice for the delivery of construction works, which include new build, refurbishment, maintenance and minor works and associated services. It will run for the next five years, and Kier has been awarded positions on:

Framework A
Lot 2 (South England) – Up to £5mLot 4 (London and East England) First reserve

Framework C
Lot 9 (National) – £10m – £30m

The appointment to frameworks A and C builds on Kier’s successful long-term partnership with the MoJ, providing a full range of construction and facilities management services throughout the justice system across England.

The projects procured through the frameworks will see Kier supporting local people and the supply chain, as well as providing opportunities for prisoners on release, as part of Kier’s Making Ground initiative which provides opportunities for prison leavers and prisoners ‘Released on Temporary Licence’ (ROTL) to gain employment and experience with Kier.
