SAEMA celebrates over 2,000 qualified operatives

Following the success of No Falls Week, SAEMA (Suspended Access Engineering Maintenance Association) has proudly announced that over 2,000 operatives have been upskilled through approved training, demonstrating the industry’s commitment to safety, competence, and compliance.

Company Secretary Tony Seddon commented, “From end users to principal contractors, knowing those you employ have the competency to operate safely when using any suspended access equipment promotes safety standards and provides peace of mind.”

SAEMA’s training programme is designed for anyone working in or interested in the permanent and temporary access industry. Crucial aspects like terminology, legislation, standards, and procedures are covered, providing a robust foundation for operatives and preparing them for practical training in the field.
