OCS Appoints Andy Robbins as Director of Security, Risk, and Resilience

OCS has announced Andy Robbins’s promotion to the role of Director of Security, Risk, and Resilience for OCS UK & Ireland.

In this key leadership position, Andy will shape and direct OCS’s strategic approach to security, ensuring robust protection and resilience for colleagues, customers, and communities. With over a decade of experience at OCS and a distinguished 38-year career in security, Andy brings an exceptional depth of knowledge.

His journey began in the police force, where he rose from constable to Detective Chief Inspector (DCI) and Senior Investigative Officer (SIO). Andy has managed complex security operations across public and private sectors, excelling in risk mitigation, threat assessments, and crisis management. He has led security strategies for high-profile sites and events, working closely with government bodies and law enforcement agencies, earning him recognition as a trusted authority in security.

Andy will be instrumental in guiding OCS’s response to emerging security threats in his new role. He will ensure the business remains at the forefront of security innovation and fully aligned with regulatory changes, such as Martyn’s Law, which will set new security standards for publicly accessible locations. Andy’s crisis management expertise will bolster OCS’s assurance to its colleagues, customers, and the broader community during critical incidents.
