Mitie has launched a technological evolution of workspace. Sphere focuses on the changing of office designs to support a more flexible way of working โ driven by analysing data to generate insight on workplace experience.
Business now and Corps Security has won a contract to work with Canary Wharf Group. The three-plus-two year contract will provide jobs for more than 80 officers to deliver corporate and retail security services.
14forty has won an FM contract with HEINEKEN UK, to provide a range of soft services including catering, cleaning and security.
The agreement will see 14forty take on more than 100 staff.
In catering, and Compass Scotland is partnering with the regionโs most decorated Chef. Scotlandโs only two Michelin-starred chef, Stephen McLaughlin, has become culinary ambassador for the company and will play a central role in the companyโs training and apprenticeship programme.
And finally, research led by the University of Southampton has revealed that British workers are rejecting the 9-5 office grind.
The study suggests that a permanent mindset shift about how work is organised has happened and commuting to the office is no longer desired.
