UK office landlords could be set to spend up to ยฃ63 billion in order to meet new energy standards.
Proposed legislative energy targets which are set to come into effect in 2027 would mean that landlords would be faced with paying upwards of ยฃ40 per square foot to make the improvements needed.
In appointments, PTSG has appointed a new Managing Director for its fire solutions service. Matthew Marriott has led businesses in manufacturing, service and construction sectors and will help take the business through its new phase of growth.
FMBDโs sister company, Rail Business Daily, has appointed Chris Leech MBE as its new Managing Director. Chris, who has significant experience in the industry, will help the business to support other companies to grow and prosper.
In business, ISS has announced its support to reopen Gatwick Airportโs South Terminal to the public. Services, which included deep cleaning and staffing, have helped Gatwick get back to better operational capacity. Flights from the airport had solely operating from the North Terminal since 15th June 2020.
Bouygues E+S has announced it has agreed a total FM contract for Roche Diagnostics UK. The initial five-year contract has already begun and includes a number of individual services under one contract.
