Research from the British Sociological Association has shown that women working from home regularly are less positive about their career prospects than men are.
The data shows that 39% of men who never worked from home thought they had good job prospects, rising to 52% of men who worked from home often โ at least twice a week. The figures for women were 34% for those who never worked from home, and 41% for those who often did.
The IWFM has released its Market Outlook report for 2022. The overall findings for 2022 reflect the broader economic picture: challenges of supply chain squeezes; creeping inflation โ especially energy prices; and a skills shortage pinching sharply now as the post-Brexit sector finds itself bereft of skilled frontline workers.
