National Library of Scotland has awarded Richard Irvin Facilities Management a five-year contract to look after the hard FM services across their portfolio.
The National Library of Scotland is the legal deposit library of Scotland and is one of the country’s National Collections. As one of the largest libraries in the United Kingdom, it is a member of Research Libraries UK and the Consortium of European Research Libraries.
The contract, estimated at £7m over 5 years, will support current and future operational management by providing Mechanical & Electrical and Building Fabric maintenance, technical compliance, reactive repairs and major projects to their buildings.
