PTSG has added another three industry award shortlistings to its belt after being recognised in the 2026 IWFM Impact Awards, bringing the Group’s total to eight award shortlistings in 2026.
The latest recognition follows:
- Three shortlistings at the PFM Awards
- One shortlisting at the IOSH Awards for Risk Assessment Initiative of the Year
- One shortlisting at the ASCP Awards for Electrical Compliance of the Year (Social Housing)
- And now three more at the IWFM Impact Awards
Together, they recognise something bigger than individual projects. They reflect the depth of expertise across the Group, from technical innovation and service delivery to colleagues whose actions have quite literally saved lives.
Driving innovation in water safety
In the IWFM Awards, PTSG Water Treatment has been shortlisted in the Product or Service Development category for its Remote Temperature Monitoring at Scale programme, developed for Change Grow Live.
The programme represents a step change in how water safety compliance is delivered. Rather than relying on periodic manual checks, it provides continuous, real-time monitoring, giving clients instant alerts, live compliance data and the ability to resolve issues before they become incidents. It’s a smarter, more proactive approach that is helping transform compliance while improving safety for clients.
Celebrating everyday excellence
While two PTSG colleagues have been recognised in the Everyday Excellence category, celebrating individuals whose actions went far beyond the requirements of their roles.
Neil Wilson, an IRATA Level 3 Technician with Pendrich Height Services, has been shortlisted after stopping to help a vulnerable man standing on the hard shoulder of the Edinburgh City Bypass. Neil guided the man away from the carriageway, drove him to safety and stayed with him until Police Scotland arrived. His actions exemplify the values the Group strives to uphold. Professionalism, compassion and a willingness to go above and beyond.
Peter Gallagher, a Water Treatment Engineer, has also been shortlisted after responding to a medical emergency during a routine client visit in Southport. When a gentleman suddenly collapsed and stopped breathing, Peter immediately began CPR and continued until he started breathing again before paramedics arrived. This was the first time Peter had ever needed to use his first aid training in a real emergency. His quick response quite literally made the difference between life and death.

To be recognised eight times across four different awards programmes, and we’re only halfway through the year, is something everyone at PTSG should be proud of.

They celebrate innovation, technical expertise and outstanding customer service, but they also recognise colleagues who stepped up in extraordinary circumstances and quite literally helped save lives.
