Colliers has recruited a new Mechanical & Electrical Cost Management director within its Project & Building Consultancy division.
Michael Gool has joined Colliers from K2 Consultancy where he led the M&E offering for the business. He has worked in the commercial real estate sector for more than 20 years and has worked on a wide range of high-profile mixed-use projects including the Canada Water Masterplan Redevelopment, Edge London Bridge, Peterborough Court, as well as British Land’s Smart Infrastructure roll out scheme.
Stuart Taggart, head of Cost Management at Colliers said: “It’s great that we are able to welcome Michael to the department. He brings with him lots of experience and will strengthen our team’s experience and help us to grow our presence in key target sectors such as data centres and life sciences. Part of Michael’s role will also be to work with other business units to help provide a turnkey solution for our clients with regard to meeting sustainability targets and compliance.”
Michael has also previously worked for Gardiner & Theobald, Gleeds, and Turner & Townsend.
Michael added: “It’s great to be joining a business like Colliers which works with a broad range of clients, across so many different asset classes, but yet still has the feel of a smaller business where you can connect across teams easily, and provide a great customer experience. I’m looking forward to getting to know more of the business and our clients and working on some great projects together.”
