OCS has announced the expansion of its long-standing partnership with GKN, a global leader in aerospace manufacturing, into a comprehensive TFM contract.
This significant development marks a new chapter in a relationship that began in 2019, initially focused on providing soft services such as cleaning and security. OCS has expanded its service offerings to GKN throughout the years, recently introducing catering including the addition of three-year technical services.
Commencing 1st January 2025, the company will also be delivering hard services across three of GKN’s major sites – Filton, Western Approach and GTC. OCS continues to provide soft services for GKN’s smaller sites on Isle of Wight and in Luton, relaunching soft services and mobilising hard services.
The contract will employ 14 engineers and administrative team members for hard services, along with 85 colleagues across cleaning, security, reception and waste management. By leveraging its one management approach and single point of contact, OCS ensures streamlined communication and management processes for exceptional service delivery.
As part of the TFM model, OCS will be providing refresher training and opportunities for upskilling to the existing team. New management roles have been introduced, allowing supervisors to advance into managerial positions. Additionally, OCS has invested a partnership commitment fund back into the contract, demonstrating its dedication to continuous improvement and support for their team.
