City Group Security Limited (‘CGS’) is delighted to be able to announce the securing of a major contract with Yorkshire Water.
For a number of years CGS have provided Yorkshire Water with adhoc reactive canine services to support not only in emergency situations, but to help provide safety & security solutions around their various assets as required.
This has been an extremely successful relationship over a number of years, with CGS having developed a fast response initiative, so as to provide canine support within a set guaranteed timeframe.
The relationships, contract management and support have grown to the point now where not only has CGS been successful in being re-awarded the canine support contract after a competitive tender, but also Yorkshire Water have asked CGS to take over the management of their static officers deployed at their various locations including their Protective Security Operations Centre.
This means that CGS will be looking after all aspects of manned and canine guarding physical security for this key part of the national infrastructure.

CGS have clearly demonstrated their ability to deliver in the past and therefore were an obvious choice for us to take over looking after the officers, especially with their focus on people and their superb mobilisation process”
