Global workplace furniture supplier, AJ Products, has launched a scholarship programme challenging UK university students to consider how physical work environments can improve employee mental and physical wellbeing.
The initiative, open to undergraduate and postgraduate-taught students enrolled for the 2025/2026 academic year, invites applicants to propose innovative solutions for adapting future workplaces – from offices to industrial facilities – to enhance employee happiness and wellbeing through better interaction with physical environments.
Students must submit original ideas that could include product innovations, building design changes, or workplace initiatives, drawing on personal experience or academic study to address observed workplace wellbeing challenges.
Applications close on 31st December 2025, with entries judged on innovation potential, practical benefit and the ability to improve working environments. The winning proposal will be selected by an AJ Products panel based on originality, relevance and impact.
The scholarship addresses growing industry recognition that physical workspace design directly impacts employee wellbeing, productivity and retention – critical factors as businesses navigate post-pandemic workplace transformation and talent shortages.
AJ Products designs and manufactures over 15,000 sustainable workplace solutions covering offices, warehouses, schools and industrial facilities from their Swedish headquarters, serving global markets with Scandinavian-style furniture and storage solutions.
