Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG), a leading provider of niche specialist services to the construction and facilities management sectors, today announces the acquisition of BDS Group Limited (BDSG), a high-quality provider of fire safety engineering and electrical compliance services operating across the UK.
The acquisition further strengthens PTSG’s market-leading Fire Solutions division and adds significant scale, technical capability and recurring compliance-led workstreams to the Group’s expanding portfolio of essential specialist services businesses.
Headquartered in Wallington, South London, BDSG comprises Bespoke Detection Services Limited (BDS) and BDS Electrical FM Limited (BDSE). The businesses provide testing, inspection, planned preventative maintenance, repair and specialist electrical services to a long-standing customer base operating across commercial, industrial and infrastructure environments nationwide.
BDSG has developed a particularly strong position within fire detection and compliance services, supported by high customer retention levels, long-duration customer relationships and a substantial base of recurring maintenance and testing activity driven by regulatory and safety-critical requirements.
The business has also established a long-standing Tier 1 supplier relationship with a world leading motor industry brand across the UK, reflecting its technical expertise, operational reliability and consistent service delivery over more than two decades.
Importantly, the business will continue to be led by its existing senior management team – Kevin Blyde, Mitchell Blyde and Anthony Watts – who will remain with the business following completion, ensuring continuity of leadership, customer relationships and operational expertise.
