PTSG Joins Capital Connect to Help Develop the Next Generation of Compliance Professionals

PTSG Water Treatment has strengthened its commitment to developing the next generation of engineering and compliance professionals by joining Capital Connect, the employer membership network run by Capital City College.

The new partnership builds on the division’s existing relationship with the college and creates further opportunities to connect with students, share industry expertise and help shape the skills needed for the future of the compliance and facilities management sector.

Part of Premier Technical Services Group (PTSG), PTSG Water Treatment delivers specialist water hygiene, water treatment and compliance services to organisations across the UK, helping customers maintain safe, efficient and compliant water systems. Joining Capital Connect reflects the division’s ongoing commitment to investing not only in its own people, but in the wider talent pipeline that will support the industry for years to come.

Capital Connect brings together employers, educators and industry partners to strengthen links between education and employment across London. Through networking, collaboration and employer engagement, the initiative gives businesses the opportunity to engage directly with students, support skills development and help prepare the future workforce.

The partnership comes at a time when demand for skilled engineers and compliance professionals continues to grow, with organisations across the sector placing increasing emphasis on attracting, developing and retaining technical talent.

The announcement also comes ahead of the opening of PTSG’s new Centre of Excellence in Manchester, a major investment in technical training, apprenticeships and professional development that will support the next generation of engineers and compliance specialists. Together with the Group’s largest-ever apprenticeship recruitment campaign, the partnership reflects PTSG’s long-term commitment to developing the people and skills the industry will need for the future.

Craig Doig, Managing Director of PTSG Water Treatment, said: “Our industry depends on skilled, knowledgeable people, so building strong relationships with education providers is incredibly important. Joining Capital Connect allows us to share our expertise, engage with students and help inspire the next generation of engineers and compliance professionals. It also complements the wider investment PTSG is making in training, apprenticeships and professional development, ensuring we continue to develop the talent our customers and our industry will rely on in the years ahead.”

Through Capital Connect, PTSG Water Treatment will work alongside employers from a broad range of sectors to support student development, share industry insight and contribute to a stronger, more skilled workforce.

The partnership marks another step in PTSG’s ongoing commitment to investing in people, supporting education and helping raise professional standards across the compliance industry.
