Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) specialist Campbell West is continuing its ambitious growth with a new electrical division, allowing the firm to offer a more streamlined approach to FM services projects.
Based in Bracknell, Berkshire, the company works with clients in both commercial and residential sectors, with customers including NHS Trusts, local government and education settings.
The new electrical arm was launched in response to client demand for an integrated approach to building services work.
“Our clients typically have complex HVAC needs and having both mechanical and electrical services under one roof can save them time and money,” said director Steven Campbell.
“There’s also the benefits that come with streamlining the construction process and reducing the potential for miscommunication between multiple firms, plus greater flexibility in design and implementation, allowing for more customised and integrated solutions – all without compromising on quality or safety.
“In the few weeks since the creation of our electrical division, we’ve already had a big uptake in our new service.”
Ben Stentiford has been appointed to head the electrical services team as operations manager.
“Ben has been in the industry for 22 years and has strong leadership skills, is detail-oriented, and skilled at managing complex projects from start to finish,” added Mr Campbell.
The company has seen growth since it was first established in 2017 by Mr Campbell and fellow director Daniel West.
Its recent projects include mechanical services for three new operating theatres at Ashford Hospital, repairing a damaged air handling unit at Tower House School in North Sheen and designing and installing mechanical building services at a high-end residential project in Chelsea.
