Legrand UK & Ireland has added internet protocol (IP) door entry systems to its Bticino range to help contractors meet the growing technical demands of large projects while providing increased building security and peace of mind for occupants.
The Bticino IP door entry range includes entrance panels, internal video units and a concierge guard station all complete with a high-quality look and finish. IP cameras in common areas can be easily monitored from the guard station unit, while those in private spaces can be monitored by residents using their internal units, helping provide safety and security for all building users. The entrance panel offers simplified interaction thanks to a large touch screen and keypad, entry can also be granted via fingerprint, RFID card or fob, or 3D face recognition.
The system is ideal for contractors working on large residential developments and multi-use buildings as it provides a versatile, robust and reliable networked solution using Power over Ethernet (PoE). It also includes internal touch screen units for apartments, a choice of touch screen, keypad or mini entrance panels, while software configuration allows for daily monitoring and management via the DES (door entry system) site server for improved building management and security.
Security alerts, notifications for incoming calls and remote access to locks are easily showcased via the Home + Security app. The app also provides real-time information about home security events, offering peace of mind to residents.
Bticino IP door entry systems can be integrated with a building’s facilities, meaning contractors can enable residents to grant their visitors access and call lifts for them, all from the internal unit. This reduces waiting times and ensures visitors are only gaining access to the permitted floor.
