Excellerate Services UK & Ireland has announced the successful mobilisation of a new warehousing operation in the Midlands for a leading UK retailer. This key milestone strengthens the company’s already impressive footprint within the logistics and retail sector and reflects their continued partnership approach with major national brands.
As part of the three-year contract, Excellerate Services UK & Ireland will provide comprehensive cleaning and hygiene services to support a safe, efficient, and well-presented operational environment across the site. This represents the first time the client has outsourced its cleaning and hygiene operations, marking a significant milestone in their facilities strategy. Over the coming months, the site will also host several sensor and smart technology pilots aimed at enhancing efficiency, sustainability, and real-time service visibility.
The mobilisation included the seamless transfer of colleagues under TUPE, ensuring continuity of service and the retention of valuable knowledge and experience. The company’s onboarding programme received excellent feedback, reflecting our people-first culture and commitment to employee engagement.
To support sustainable and efficient service delivery, the site has been equipped with new machinery and operational equipment. Excellerate has also introduced an innovative, sustainable range of cleaning chemicals, alongside environmentally considerate uniforms and materials; reinforcing their commitment to responsible and ethical operations.
