Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has strengthened its position in the fire safety sector with the successful completion of a significant passive fire protection contract for a major national care home operator.
Delivered by PTSG’s specialist fire solutions division Neo, the project provided a wide range of passive fire services across multiple care home sites, supporting one of the country’s foremost providers of dementia, mental health, residential, nursing and respite care.
The care group’s ethos of person-centred support, which prioritises dignity and tailored care for residents, meant the project demanded an exceptionally sensitive approach. Neo’s teams worked within occupied facilities, ensuring minimal disruption to daily routines while delivering robust fire safety enhancements.
Key services delivered under the contract included:
- Comprehensive fire risk assessments
- Fire door inspection, maintenance and installation
- Fire-rated glazing solutions
- Installation of fire curtains and cavity barriers
- Fire stopping and penetration sealing
- Strategic fire compartmentation
PTSG said the work underscores Neo’s expertise in navigating the complexities of live environments where residents, staff and visitors coexist. The firm’s approach combined technical proficiency with careful planning to protect some of society’s most vulnerable groups, including older adults and those with high care requirements.
A PTSG spokesperson commented: “This project reflects our commitment to delivering reliable, compliant and compassionate fire safety solutions. Our team demonstrated the highest standards of professionalism and care while working across busy sites, ensuring safety without compromising on resident comfort.”
The successful delivery reinforces PTSG’s broader strategic focus on enhancing safety infrastructure within the health and social care sector—a market where regulatory scrutiny and demand for quality fire protection continue to increase.
