Grazing lands three-year contract for new Virgin London HQ

Delivered-in office and venue catering specialist Grazing has won a three-year contract to oversee the catering at Virgin Group’s new London headquarters.

Virgin Group’s 400 team members moved into the new four-storey, 24,000sq ft office earlier this month at Whitfield Studios, a former recording studio, in London’s Soho.

Grazing has been chosen to provide all catering services in the building including staff dining, events, hospitality and pantry provision. The business stood out during the contract tender process for its focus on sustainability, with 90% of deliveries done via zero emissions cargo bikes, with food delivered in either reusable or recyclable Verive packaging.

Sam Hurst, CEO of Grazing, said: “We’re delighted to be working with Virgin Group at their new Whitfield Studios headquarters.

“Sustainability has been a priority for Virgin throughout the design, build and procurement of the new office and the team felt there was an alignment of values between the two businesses, and appreciated our flexible business model. We look forward to building a great working relationship with them over the coming years.”

The contract is Grazing’s latest in a year that has seen a 30% growth in business, a 50% increase in capacity of its central production unit, and its recent acquisition by Restaurant Associates, part of Compass Group.
