Sustainable cleaning and soft FM specialist secures key contracts

Nanogreen Sustainable Cleaning has secured contracts with Wiltshire Football Association (FA) and OPX Group, building on its reputation as a provider of eco-friendly, community-driven cleaning and soft facilities management services.

Wiltshire FA renewed its contract with Swindon-headquartered Nanogreen in December 2022. Nanogreen technicians will deliver contract and specialist cleaning services at the organisation’s Green Lane Playing Fields football facility, relying on environmentally friendly products and green processes.

Nanogreen’s sustainable approach makes it an ideal partner for Wilshire FA, which has committed to becoming more environmentally friendly. It recently launched The Good Game campaign, and is encouraging members and supporters to reduce their own environmental impact by making small changes.

Wiltshire FA’s ongoing partnership with Nanogreen (which takes a holistic approach to sustainability, focussing on people, products and processes) is part of this drive to make Green Lane Playing Fields a truly “environmentally friendly football facility”.

Under the stewardship of directors Chris Horgan and Craig Duff, Nanogreen has also been awarded a 12-month contract to support Swindon-based fulfilment specialist OPX Group, providing soft facilities management services and specialist and contract cleaning at its new 32,000-square-foot facility.

Multi-million-pound company OPX Group was founded by Swindon entrepreneur Lee Hallett in 2013. After a challenging two years – during which he lost his job and home – Lee accessed government funding and launched his own recruitment agency.

Steady growth and a series of rebrands followed, and today OPX Group comprises three divisions – OPX Recruitment, OPX Distribution and OPX Logistics. Nanogreen (which also provides job opportunities for people facing barriers to employment) is well-placed to support the company as it reviews its own social and environmental impact.

Chris Horgan, Nanogreen’s director, commented: “We’re delighted that Wiltshire FA and OPX Group have chosen to partner with Nanogreen. These contracts are important, not just commercially, but also in terms of what we’re trying to achieve as an environmentally friendly, community-driven business.

“We build strong relationships with clients who share our values; it’s about working collaboratively to help them maintain their facilities to the very highest standards, all while meeting their ESG (environmental, social and governance) objectives. We look forward to supporting Wiltshire FA, OPX Group, and our other customers over the coming months.”
