Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has completed a specialist electrical services project at a brand-new retirement community village in Greater London
Solar Serena Sunrise is the regeneration of an existing sheltered housing estate in Hornchurch, which is no longer fit for purpose. Out of this, will be a new retirement community focused around five new buildings and a central landscaped courtyard.
The project is part of the estate regeneration programme being delivered by a Joint Venture between Havering Borough Council and Wates Residential.
The 1.05-hectare site is located south-west of Hornchurch, a short walk from Harrow Lodge Park. The eastern and southern boundaries address two-storey houses, and the western edge faces three tower blocks up to 14 storeys in height.
PTSG Electrical Services Ltd worked on Saturday 21st October to install an earthing rod (driven into the ground) to complete life safety works to enable handover of the site for Wates on 30th October. PTSG’s attending engineer for this project was the same engineer who led the delivery of the lightning protection system that the Group had been commissioned to provide, completed in August 2023.
