As a keen advocate of physical and mental health, Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) is looking forward to World Health Day 2024.
World Health Day is a global health awareness day celebrated every year on 7 April, under the sponsorship of the World Health Organisation, as well as other related organizations. In 1948, the WHO held the First World Health Assembly.
It provides an opportunity to focus world attention on a health problem or issue that deserves special attention. The theme for World Health Day 2024 is: ‘My health, my right’. This was chosen to champion the right of everyone, everywhere to have access to quality health services, education, and information, as well as safe drinking water, clean air, good nutrition, quality housing, decent working and environmental conditions, and freedom from discrimination.
PTSG has 40 Mental Health First Aid Trainers, who are qualified through Mental Health First Aid England. The aim is to give every one of its 2,700+ people easy access to a mental health expert to talk in confidence about any issues they are experiencing so that they can receive the expert help they need.
