Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has been appointed to deliver specialist electrical services at Chatham Naval Memorial, ensuring the continued protection of this important heritage site.
Located in Kent’s Great Lines Heritage Park, the Chatham Naval Memorial stands as a tribute to the 8,517 Royal Navy personnel who lost their lives in the First World War and a further 10,098 in the Second World War – all without a known grave. A towering obelisk set above the Medway Towns, the memorial is a lasting symbol of sacrifice and naval history, situated near what was once a principal manning port for the Royal Navy.
As part of the works, engineers from PTSG Electrical Services Ltd carried out a comprehensive test and inspection of the site’s lightning protection system – a critical safeguard for the memorial’s structural integrity.
