Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has further strengthened its position as a market leader in specialist services with the acquisition of UK Safety Management Ltd (UKSM), a national provider of electrical compliance and safety testing.
The acquisition adds significant scale to PTSG’s electrical services portfolio. UKSM delivers a wide range of core services – including Portable Appliance Testing (PAT), Fixed Wire Testing, Emergency Lighting Inspections and Fire Extinguisher Maintenance – to a broad customer base across SME and commercial sectors.
Headquartered in Leeds, UKSM has built a strong reputation for quality service and customer retention. Its integration into PTSG’s Electrical Services division enhances the Group’s capacity and capability, positioning it as one of the UK’s largest and most comprehensive providers of electrical compliance.
The move sees UKSM join a growing portfolio of specialist businesses under the PTSG Electrical Services banner, including Guardian Electrical Compliance Ltd, PTSG Electrical Testing, Electrical Compliance and Safety Ltd, and the Group’s market-leading Lightning Protection business.
Commenting on the acquisition, Paul Teasdale, Group Chairman at PTSG, said: “UK Safety Management is a strong cultural and strategic fit for our business. Their technical expertise and customer-first approach complement our own, and their addition significantly expands our ability to serve clients of all sizes with best-in-class electrical compliance solutions.”
Mike Devlin, Managing Director at UKSM, will continue to lead the business as it transitions into the PTSG Group.
“We are delighted to welcome the UKSM team into the PTSG family,” added Mr Teasdale. “This acquisition aligns with our strategy of achieving sector leadership through targeted growth, service excellence and continued investment in our people and capability.”
PTSG now delivers specialist services across five key divisions – Electrical Services, Building Access, Fire Solutions, Water Treatment and Telecoms – with a focus on safety, compliance and operational excellence across the UK’s built environment.
