Trinity Fire & Security (Trinity), part of Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG), has successfully delivered a specialist installation project at the new Emergency Department of Grange University Hospital in Cwmbran, South Wales.
The £350 million hospital, built on the former site of Llanfrechfa Grange, was developed to provide specialist critical care services for the region. Construction began in 2017, with the facility now serving as a key part of NHS Wales’ healthcare infrastructure.
As part of the latest phase of works, Trinity’s expert team installed and commissioned a Gent fire alarm system and a Baldwin Boxall disabled refuge system, ensuring full compliance with the latest fire and life safety standards.
A key element of the project involved the integration of a Winmag graphics package, enabling centralised visibility and control of the hospital’s motorised dampers. This system allows estates teams to monitor damper status in real time from a single interface—enhancing fault reporting, simplifying testing, and improving daily operational performance.
Trinity operates as part of PTSG Fire Solutions Ltd, the largest of PTSG’s five divisions, delivering a wide range of fire detection, fire suppression, life safety and security systems across the UK.
