Premier Technical Services Group (PTSG) has been featured in a new customer success story published by Google Cloud, highlighting the company’s digital transformation and its strategic use of cloud technology to drive efficiency and performance across the business.
The recognition reflects the work of PTSG’s Cloud and Infrastructure team, whose programme of modernisation has seen the Group migrate key systems to Google Cloud Platform (GCP), creating a more resilient, scalable and data-driven IT environment.
As part of the transformation, PTSG has significantly reduced its infrastructure and security costs while improving the reliability of business-critical applications. By moving away from legacy systems, the Group has been able to minimise downtime and deliver a more consistent service to its nationwide operations.
A major focus of the project has been data. By implementing Google BigQuery and Looker, PTSG has developed a centralised analytics platform that provides real-time reporting across the organisation, supporting faster and more informed decision-making.
With its cloud foundations now firmly in place, PTSG is also exploring advanced technologies including artificial intelligence through tools such as Vertex AI and Gemini, aimed at further enhancing operational efficiency and customer service.
