OCS has unveiled OCS Energy Services, a fully integrated business unit created to help organisations translate Net Zero strategies into tangible outcomes through a structured, full lifecycle delivery model.
The new division consolidates OCS’s engineering, renewables, infrastructure and facilities management expertise into a single offer. The aim is to provide customers with a clear route to measurable carbon reduction, lower energy costs and improved long term estate resilience.
OCS Energy Services formalises the organisation’s existing capabilities into a defined five stage framework – Discover, Design, Deliver, Maintain and Optimise. The model is designed to guide estates and infrastructure owners from initial assessment through to sustained operational performance. Delivery is supported by OCS’s national engineering workforce and established FM teams.
Graeme Hamilton, Managing Director of Energy Services at OCS, said many organisations struggle to move from strategy to execution.
“Across the market, organisations know what needs to change, but too many plans stall between strategy and implementation. OCS Energy Services has been created to close that gap,” he said.
“By combining engineering, energy and FM expertise into one structured model, we give customers a partner who can uncover opportunities, design buildable programmes, deliver projects safely at scale, and ensure assets continue to perform long after installation. This is about turning Net Zero intent into practical, measurable action.”
Operating across the UK and Ireland, the new business unit will support public and private sector estates including NHS Trusts, education providers, local authorities, commercial portfolios, developers and infrastructure owners.
Its scope covers M&E upgrades, building management system optimisation and heat decarbonisation, alongside solar PV, battery energy storage and high voltage grid connections up to 132kV.
Daniel Dickson, CEO of OCS UK and Ireland, described the launch as a significant step in the company’s evolution.
“Decarbonisation is no longer a standalone initiative, it must be embedded into the everyday operation and management of estates,” he said.
“By uniting our technical, operational and infrastructure capabilities, this new business positions OCS as a long term partner that can deliver both immediate energy improvements and lasting strategic value. We are proud to bring a solution to the market that is practical, scalable and aligned to our mission of making people and places the best they can be.”
