The Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management (IWFM) has announced a two-week extension for the IWFM Impact Awards 2026 entry deadline, providing professionals across the sector additional time to complete their submissions.
The decision follows the recognition that the original deadline fell close to the Easter bank holiday weekend, presenting logistical challenges for many potential entrants. The new closing date for all submissions is now midday (BST) on Thursday, 23 April 2026.
The extension applies to both new and existing entries. Those who have already submitted are permitted to revise their work or enter additional categories during this period. The IWFM has encouraged entrants to use the extra time to refine their narratives and ensure their contributions to the workplace and facilities management profession are effectively highlighted.
There are 20 categories currently open for entry, designed to showcase excellence among individuals, teams, and entire organisations. Key categories include:
- Climate Change Risk and Adaptation
- Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Initiative
- People Development and Talent Retention
- Product or Service Development
- Workplace Experience: Non-office/Corporate Environment
The awards remain a premier platform for the industry to gain recognition for innovation and operational excellence. Prospective entrants can view the full list of categories and specific entry criteria on the official IWFM Impact Awards website.
All final submissions must be completed through the awards portal before the revised deadline on 23 April.
