ISS finalist for three IWFM Impact Awards

ISS has been shortlisted for three IWFM Impact Awards, which celebrate facilities management companies that encourage staff wellbeing, deliver customer-first experiences, and make positive changes to sustainability, inclusivity and productivity.

This year, ISS has been nominated for the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Initiative; the People Development and Talent Retention award; and the Outstanding Contribution to Workplace and Facilities Management award.

Kat Parsons, Head of Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging, is the force behind the company’s Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Initiative award nomination. Having already secured the RoSPA Initiative of the Year Award and ‘Highly Commended’ status at the Wellbeing Awards, Kat’s Menopause Awareness Project has helped the organisation tackle a once ‘taboo’ subject with tact and inclusivity – and ensured that anybody, regardless of age or gender, feels empowered to discuss this common life event with confidence.

The organisation’s second shortlisting is in the People Development and Talent Retention Award, recognising the ISS Healthcare Training Academy. The Academy is specially developed to help it to deliver in-person and blended virtual learning to all healthcare staff. As well as demonstrating its dedication to flexible learning and development, the Academy lays the foundation for entire healthcare careers, from induction to upskilling

The third nomination is Collette Sweeney, Head of Healthcare Cleaning, who competes in the Outstanding Contribution to Workplace and Facilities Management category. Having contributed more than 30 years of experience to ISS’s healthcare cleaning services and spent more than 10 years working within the NHS, Collette has demonstrated true dedication to the UK’s healthcare patients and professionals.

The winners are to be announced at the IWFM Impact Award Ceremony on Monday, 17 October 2022 at the Marriott Grosvenor House in London. To find out more about the event, and to learn more about the awards, visit the official IWFM finalists page.

With several awards already secured this year, including two wins in the Global FM Awards of Excellence and seven International Safety Awards, ISS says it is delighted to be recognised for its continued dedication to people and places.

We look forward to the ceremony this October and wish the best of luck to our shortlisted nominees.
