Saltire Court recognised as one of the healthiest office buildings in Edinburgh

Savills, on behalf of Tigon 7 Ltd. has achieved the first Fitwel Built-Certification 2-Star rating in Edinburgh at Saltire Court, 20 Castle Terrace. 

Fitwel is a rigorous, third-party healthy building certification system operated by the Center for Active Design (CfAD) that sets the industry standard for evidence-based strategies to promote positive health outcomes for building occupants.

Located in the heart of the city centre, the five-storey Saltire Court was recognised for its ability to promote active travel, achieving a ‘walk score’ of 98 out of 100, and offering 45 bicycle parking spaces, access to four shower rooms and 63 lockers, The multi-tenanted building also offers close proximity to public transport links. The building’s indoor air quality, water quality and the ability for occupants to access these measurements via an intranet portal also contributed to the overall high Fitwel 2-Star rating.

Saltire Court is managed by Savills and occupied by investment, legal and financial services firms including KPMG, CMS, Close Brothers, Quilter Cheviot.
